Dancing Elephants is both a commentary and a memoir. In the course of my life, I've been able to examine modern day Christianity from the inside and out. From the Bible-belt of Mississippi, the poutine laden Canada, the mountains of North Carolina, the hills of San Francisco and across various places around the globe, I guess you can say I’ve come away with more than a few observations.

This book is full of questions, with only a few answers. Even though some of my thoughts could be considered a bit unorthodox, my prayer is that the questions I ask will cause you to see life and God through fresh eyes and will give you hope for a better way.

I believe that if we will set aside our preconceived ideas and look at Jesus in a new light, we will begin to develop radically different ideas about the Church and the world around us. Dancing Elephants is simply my thoughts on grace, love and creating a better world. Whether a fundamentalist conservative, a progressive liberal, Catholic, Charismatic, Baptist, hippie, Orthodox, Athiest, Agnostic or simple seeker of truth, my prayer is that this project would open your heart and mind to something new. I hope you enjoy it.
